王天然
中國工程院院士
王天然1943生,1967年畢業(yè)于哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)。1982-1985年,作為訪問學(xué)者,在美國卡納基–梅隆大學(xué)進(jìn)行人工智能與機(jī)器人研究。現(xiàn)任中國科學(xué)院沈陽自動化所研究員,機(jī)器人技術(shù)國家工程研究中心主任，中國工程院院士。
王天然教授主要從事機(jī)器人和大型工業(yè)自動化系統(tǒng)的技術(shù)和應(yīng)用研究。他曾獲得國家科技進(jìn)步獎、中科院科技進(jìn)步獎、何梁何利科學(xué)與技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎和遼寧省科技功勛獎等多項(xiàng)科技獎勵.
Wang Tianran was born in March 1943, and graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1967. He conducted research on artificial intelligence and robotics as a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University of the United States during 1982 to 1985. Currently, Wang services as professor at Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is also director of the National Engineering Research Center on Robotics in China, and the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE).
Wang devotes his efforts to research and application of robotics and large-scale industrial automation system. Due to his contribution to the field, he has won China’s National Scientific and Technological Progress Prizes, Technological Progress Prize of CAS, Technological Sciences Prize of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, and Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Award.
